Jake Simpson, Head Bloke
Jake Simpson shipped his first game on a Commodore 64. He’s really old, and claims to have had something to do with Eliza, which is almost certainly a lie.
Jake’s been making games off and on for 30 years. He’s contributed to a lot of games like The Sims, Star Trek: Voyager: Elite Force: Too many Colons. His handiwork can be seen in many arcade games from Midway’s golden years, including Wrestlemania, NBA Jam, Revolution X, and others.
More recently, Jake’s been dabbling in development on mobile platforms, much like every other veteran developer who’s not a multi-millionaire, while also providing software services to companies like Digital Domain.
Jake has been around games all his life, and still owes Jeff Minter, of Llamasoft fame, a beer for providing the inspiration for him to make games his career in the first place.
